Kings acquire Andrej Sekera for a 1st + Prospect

The Los Angeles Kings on Wednesday acquired defenseman Andrej Sekera from the Carolina Hurricanes in a trade for a first-round draft pick and a prospect.

The Hurricanes acquire defenseman Roland McKeown, who was the 50th pick in the 2014 NHL Draft.

Sekera is a good pickup for the Kings. The price is a little hefty but if the Kings think they're a Sekera away from repeating as Cup champs then go for it.
