The Sharks are all but eliminated, and I think they know that, so they probably see themselves more as spoilers here than contenders. While that takes a lot of the pressure off, it leaves Ottawa more desperate. Desperation has been synonymous with success for the Sens down the stretch, so I'm not too worried. Sticking with my prediction of a nail biter though. 3-2 Sens in the shootout.

Agreed but I'll also note that McLellan is coaching for his job, Niemi is playing for a contract, and Pavelski/Couture/Vlasic are trying to demonstrate their value as a core worth building around. Plus you have a dozen young RFA types just trying to stay in the lineup. Tonight will be a dogfight for sure.

Sens win 5-2 and are in a playoff spot!

Chiasson had a ton of chances tonight. His lack of finish is crazy, but at least he came through when we needed him the most.

The Sens continue to shut it down and take control of the game in the third period. Some sloppy play in the second which needs working on.

What's the Canadian Club Bar?

When sitting in the lower bowl, some tickets give you acces to a VIP bar located under section 102.... with a buffet before the game, snacks during 1st intermission and coffee during the 2nd one. After the game, you also have access to the post game interview done by Gord (All Access presented by Bell) - tonight was Gryba. You can view these interviews on Sens TV.

Forgot to mention..at some point during the game, I was observing Chiasson and he reminded me of Spezza. He has a very similar shape and some strides he took, I saw Spezza there for a few seconds..
