Where is Buffalo for the next few seasons?

As an outsider it looks like Miller wants out. Vanek is on the trade block. Other than that they have an average team. Last season they made a pretty good push for the playoffs and came up short. I don't think the could sustain a 82 game season and stay in the hunt. They should a team on the outside looking in.

Yeah I can't imagine Buffalo having a very good year at all. Think they turn out a worse performance than the Flames?

They do have a great prospect cupboard though. In a few years they should be a very competitive team. Especially with a few more high picks that seem pretty inevitable.

Yeah, he was bought out at the same time as Brière. Then they signed Mason.

Yeah, considering on their opening night roster against us they had about 5 rookies: Girgensons, Grigorenko, Johan Larsson, Brian Flynn and Rasmus Ristolainen, they should be pretty bad this year, but could also be pretty good in a short while, especially if, like Josh said, they are really bad this year and get another top pick.
