Oh! ... I hope they are not pushing him because of last night's loss. Anderson looked decent to me..not extra but good. The entire team looked flat except in the 2nd period. Go figure, thats the one they had issues with in the past few games.
Yup. It would be a shame if that 15-1-1 record was all for nothing. You'd think Saturday's loss would have gave them the kick they needed, but they come out looking flat again...
Sens fans seem really pessimistic right now. Do I blame them? Not really, but things can change in the blink of an eye. An Ottawa win and Boston loss puts the Sens one point back with a game in hand and we control our own destiny again.
This team is going to have to find a way to, well, play good hockey again. The team lost one regulation game in 17 matches. If you take it one game at a time I don't see why the Sens couldn't get right back in it and make the playoffs.
I haven't given up on them.. I just think they needed a few games to adjust their mind set to Anderson being back..and MacArthur, which produced some line changes. A bit more practice time and some video watching might just do the trick.........and hopefully a win in regulation time on Tuesday against the Wings. No game will be easy between now and the end of regular season. If they can't handle what's coming, they have no business beeing in the playoffs.
